Atlas of Places (link) is a public educational collection of thoughts and visuals. The topics span architecture, cartography, cinema, painting, and photography. It is also a welcome calming space in turbulent times.
The website offers an unobtrusive design that invites strolling through the archive, while new content can be effortlessly added behind the scenes. As an homage to the form of the eponymous books, Atlas of Places presents its entries visually and as an index. The latter is complemented by ‘coordinates’ pertaining to entry number and topic rather than a specific tile on the map.
