Traurig und Untanzbar is a music festival in Berlin which is devoted to darker ambient and electronic music. Even though the music comes off as sad and difficult to dance to – as implied by the name – it makes the audience happy and they might even move their feet once in a while.
The design alludes to this duality through custom typography and the dancing layout. You might also catch a glimpse of the mascot referred to as the “sadley” – a smiley face which is sad and smiling at the same time.
